Privacy Notice
Liftoff Watch is built to collect as little personal information as practical. This notice covers browser notifications, anonymous analytics, and basic operational data used to keep the site reliable.
Browser Notifications
If you enable a reminder, your browser gives us a push capability URL and encryption keys. We store those values privately with your reminder choice, a one-way endpoint identifier, a hashed random installation token, and minimal delivery status. Push capability URLs are secrets: they are never shown in API responses, analytics, or logs.
How We Use It
Push data is used only to deliver the fixed-launch, next-launch, or schedule-update reminder you requested, recover safely from delivery retries, and prevent abuse. We do not collect email addresses, send site-generated email, sell notification data, or use it for advertising.
Site Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate page views, performance, routes, referrers, approximate location, browser, device, and operating system information. We strip query strings and page fragments before analytics events are sent. Custom events use only coarse buckets and never contain search text, launch identifiers, push endpoints, installation tokens, email addresses, or raw IP addresses.

Your Choices
You can remove a reminder or disable notifications from the same notification control that enabled it; doing so deletes the corresponding server subscription and reminder data. You can also ask to access or delete notification data by emailing privacy@liftoffwatch.com.
Retention
Active push records are kept only while notifications remain enabled. Browser subscriptions that expire or return a permanent 404/410 response are removed immediately. Minimal delivery outcomes are retained for 30 days for reliability monitoring, then deleted. Limited security records may be retained longer when needed to prevent abuse.
Service Providers
Site data is stored with managed infrastructure providers used to run Liftoff Watch: Vercel for hosting, analytics, performance, logs, and scheduled jobs; Supabase for private push and launch data; and the visitor's browser push service for notification delivery.
